Job purpose:
We are seeking a technically proficient Technical Consultant to join our team, providing comprehensive support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations configuration and support activities for our clients. This role demands a strong technical background and problem-solving skills to address complex issues and integrate diverse systems effectively.
What you will do in this role:
- Collaborate with functional consultants and clients to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Design, customize, and implement technical solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other systems using Power Apps and Azure services, and other relevant technologies.
- Perform system configurations and technical troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates in D365 F&O and related Microsoft technologies.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality solutions within budget constraints.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding business best practices, software capabilities, and solution implementation.
- Implement new functionalities and change requests in Microsoft Dynamics from the technical requirements gathering phase through development, testing, and deployment.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent; relevant technical professional qualifications are a plus.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics F&O, or Navision/Dynamics 365 Business Central related developments.
- One or more technical and development certifications within Dynamics AX are highly preferred.
- Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of application modules within Dynamics AX/F&O.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of full life-cycle Dynamics AX implementations, upgrades, and familiarity with Life Cycle Services (LCS) is highly desirable.
