Job purpose:
The ISO Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and developing, implementing ISO 27000 Information Security Management System (ISMS). This role requires a deep understanding of ISO standards, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- ISO 9001 and ISO 27000 Implementation and Maintenance:
- Maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the ISMS in accordance with ISO 27000 standards.
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are aligned with ISO requirements.
- Audit Management:
- Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27000 standards.
- Prepare for and coordinate third-party certification and surveillance audits.
- Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Documentation and Records:
- Maintain and control all documentation related to QMS and ISMS.
- Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all employees understand and adhere to ISO standards.
- Promote a culture of quality and security awareness throughout the organization.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improvement in QMS and ISMS processes.
- Implement improvement initiatives to enhance quality and security performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with department heads and staff to ensure ISO standards are integrated into daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with external auditors and certification bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Quality Management, Information Security, Business Administration).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ISO 9001 or ISO 27000 implementation and maintenance.
- Certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and/or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality management and information security principles.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
