Your Role in a Nutshell:

As the Business Group Lead for Modern Work, you will be at the helm of shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for Microsoft 365 solutions. Your mission? To drive growth, adoption, and competitive positioning of Modern Work solutions by leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and crafting impactful product narratives.

You will spearhead strategic initiatives, competitive responses, and business model evolutionally while ensuring that Tech One remains at the forefront of digital transformation.

What You Will Do:

GTM Planning and Program Execution

  • Leadership and orchestration of GTM plans supporting the Microsoft 365 priorities: Increase Premium Mix (Sell Security, Sell Compliance), Drive Seats (Land Industry Solutions, Expand to Firstline), and Grow Usage (Drive Security, Get Modern)
  • Establish cross subsidiary influence and leadership access enabling your team to create and land timely and quality integrated Modern Workplace plans that are fully supported by the leadership. Do your part to lead and enable cross subsidiary commitments from Sales, Cloud Services, Marketing and Managed Services team to fully execute these plans.
  • Lead the quarterly solution area business review.

Product Advocacy, Positioning, Messaging & Storytelling

  • Assess the overall strengths and weaknesses of the subsidiary’s sales and marketing force in being able to message the value proposition, story tell, demo and advocate your key products.
  • Build and execute a plan to resolve key gaps and shortcomings
  • Continually work on a scalable approach to expand product messaging, across multiple channels, both traditional and digital.

Competitive Positioning and Response

  • Increase and drive strategically to position Microsoft programs delivered by Sales or Modern Work team on scalable approach.
  • Review, monitor and adjust the strategies and action plans to accelerate our market share growth against our prioritized competitors.
  • Manage the escalation processes in competitive situations, and distill the learnings from win/loss reviews to drive systematic change in the subsidiary

Business, Delivery and Monetization

  • Accountable for the business goals and targets of supporting Microsoft 365 product (revenue, scorecard and share dashboard), including consumption and usage.
  • Business leadership is critical in driving governance and changes in the business model, based on business issues and market dynamics.
  • Influence & Orchestration, cross segment, cross discipline (sales, marketing, cloud services, and managed services) and between geography and leadership.
  • Drive cross subsidiary collaboration health within your geography.
  • Influence the product planning prioritization to meet the local market’s needs.

What We Look For:

  • Proven Leadership in GTM Strategy: with substantial experience in leading go-to-market (GTM) strategies, product positioning, or business development within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem or a similar Modern Work domain.
  • Enterprise Technology Expertise: Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace solutions, Security & Compliance, and Cloud Productivity tools to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Cloud Services, and Managed Services teams to execute strategic business plans.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience in business analytics, performance tracking, and competitive market analysis to optimize strategies and improve market positioning.
  • Proven Track Record in Revenue Growth: Ability to drive business outcomes, including increasing premium mix, user adoption, and expanding market share in a competitive landscape.
  • Excellent Storytelling & Product Advocacy Skills: Strong ability to translate technical solutions into compelling business narratives, driving engagement across multiple channels.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Experience in working with senior leadership to align on priorities, influence decision-making, and drive organizational impact.
