Hitting the B key sends the screen to a complete black out, while the W key makes a white out. Hitting any key or clicking with the mouse gets back to the slides. This is a good technique to move the audience’s attention from the slides to you — even if the slide presentation is full of notes, animation, video, or other distracting elements.
