The role in a nutshell:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Associate Tech Lead with expertise in the Power Platform to join our team. The Associate Tech Lead will play a key role in leading and managing the development and implementation of Power Platform solutions. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers working on Power Platform projects.
- Power Platform Development: Design, develop, and implement solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Solution Architecture: Collaborate with architects and business analysts to design and architect scalable, secure, and efficient Power Platform solutions with adhering licensing requirements to provide most suitable cost-effective way.
- Project Management: Lead and manage Power Platform projects, including requirements gathering, estimation, planning, and coordination of resources.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of Power Platform solutions through code reviews, dev testing, and optimization.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely resolutions to ensure smooth project execution.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the Power Platform ecosystem, evaluating their potential impact on our solutions and making recommendations for improvement.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and deployment instructions.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in similar capacity
- Proven experience as a Power Platform developer, with hands-on expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of solution architecture and design patterns in the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Experience leading and managing Power Platform projects, including requirements gathering, estimation, and resource coordination.
- Experience power platform licensing mechanism
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and issue resolution within the Power Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Certification in Power Platform (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect) is a plus.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies, such as Azure, O365, and SharePoint online.
