The role in a nutshell:
The ‘Pre-Sales Engineer’ collaborates with the key customer business decision makes, management, pre-sales, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and drive end to end value for customer success in their Microsoft digital transformation journey. He/she is responsible for achieving a profit and productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the organization.

- Own, investigate and solve complex customer technical requirements and project engagements and act as an advisor to the customer
- Demonstrate customer obsession in their daily tasks by offering support in the form of technical advisory and owning solution designing to drive customer success
- Proactively design and scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company
- Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills
- Drive for efficient, high quality and deep technical delivery engagements.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology (IT), or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft solution areas and system administration
- 2+ years of experience in any areas of technical pre-sales, implementation and delivery, and consulting etc. for Microsoft technologies
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft on-premises and cloud infrastructure services such as but not limited to Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange Server, System Center, Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to do the right thing under pressure and tight deadlines and shift basis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills-both oral and written is a must.
- Self-motivated and independent thinker that routinely translates circumstances and understanding into actions that move the business forward in a measurable manner
