The role in a nutshell:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Data & AI Architect to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data and AI technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem, including SQL Server, Azure, Power BI, and related tools. The Data & AI Architect will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing robust and scalable data and AI architectures to support our organization’s strategic goals.
What you will do in this role:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and define data and AI solution architectures.
- Design end-to-end solutions that leverage Microsoft technologies to meet business objectives.
- Architect scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure data services.
- Define and implement data models, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and security.
- Design AI-driven solutions using Azure AI services, machine learning models, and Cognitive Services.
- Ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into business processes and applications.
- Architect ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory.
- Define data integration strategies to consolidate information from diverse sources.
- Architect Power BI solutions for interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards.
- Ensure that reporting solutions align with business goals and data governance standards.
- Define and implement data security measures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to address data security requirements.
- Optimize the performance of databases, ETL processes, and AI models to meet defined service level agreements.
- Identify and address bottlenecks in data processing pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and analysts.
- Collaborate with solution architects and enterprise architects to ensure alignment with overall IT strategies.
- Create comprehensive documentation for data and AI architectures, including design principles, standards, and best practices.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team and across the organization.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of extensive experience as a data and AI architect with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Azure data services, Power BI, and AI technologies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Certifications in Microsoft Data and AI technologies.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and architectures.
- Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, and natural language processing.
