Your role in a nutshell:
As a Data Miner, you’ll extract and integrate data from diverse sources, clean and prepare it for analysis, conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, and communicate findings through actionable reports. Staying current with data mining techniques and industry trends will drive continuous improvement in analytical capabilities.
What You Will Do:
- Data Extraction and Integration:
- Extract and integrate data from multiple sources to build comprehensive datasets.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation:
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and suitability for analysis.
- Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):
- Conduct EDA to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data.
- Insights and Reporting:
- Interpret findings and communicate actionable insights through reports and presentations.
- Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Stay updated on data mining techniques and industry trends to enhance analytical capabilities.
What We Look For:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and other productivity apps.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience:
- Proven experience in data mining and analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Previous experience in an IT organization or a related industry is advantageous.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
Soft Skills:
- Good communication skills to convey information to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to stay current with new data mining trends and technologies.
