The role in a nutshell:
The Associate QA Engineer will be responsible for performing software testing, creating and executing test cases, conducting manual testing, and implementing QA automation.
What you will do in this role:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Dynamics Business Central applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality.
- Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established processes and standards.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to the project team.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 yrs as a QA Engineer, preferably with a focus on Dynamics Business Central.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
