The role in a nutshell:
Responsible for the design, implementation & improvement of great user experience. Collaboratewith business managers and IT teams to defi ne and implement innovative solutions for theproduct direction, visuals and experience for the projects of Tech One Global Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
What you will do in this role:
- Assist and train the development team
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements,solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications,
- standards, and programming.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies
- and procedures.
- Collaborate with the team to create and implement effective and innovative solutions.
- Support and offer the assistance to the team regarding the development aspects from the
- project initialisation to the finalisation.
- Test products in controlled, real environments
- Conduct user research and evaluate their feedback to improve the user experience.
- Establish and promote best practices, development guidelines and standards.
- Should keep their knowledge and skills up-to-date with trends, techniques & technologies.
- Present solutions to various stakeholders
- Participate in the full SDLC /Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative
- development, estimations and design sessions
- Own the design and interaction models
- Lead and groom the team
What we are looking for:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous considerable IT experience (5 years) in a variety of roles including Business/Systems analyst and Programming/Development.
- An IT specialist with proven experience of architecting &leading the delivery of solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint products and technologies
- Understanding of application architecture and development of .NET platform
- C# / .NET Framework / ASP .NET/.Net core/ Microservices /Angular development proficiency (including web parts, master pages, etc.)
- SQL Server proficiency in designing database tables and writing stored procedures and T-SQL.
- Practical experience of XML technologies, and their use in messaging/integration is expected
- Proficiency in Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and PowerShell is mandatory.
- Website front end technologies such as (D) HTML, AJAX,JavaScript, CSS, etc.
- Experience in SOA using .NET
- Knowledge and experience of jQuery, Twitter Bootstrap,Responsive Web Design for rapid prototyping and implementation.
- Large enterprise level development experience
- Up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills
- Team oriented approach to work but able to work under own initiative
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Flexible approach to work
- Ability to resolve problems in a professional manner
