What you will do in this role:
- Define the system requirements, specifications, architectures, and pricing for the products, ensuring alignment with customer needs, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in cloud systems and Azure service innovation.
- Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to guide customers through their Migration and modernization roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring the technical feasibility of new projects and successful deployments.
- Lead Architectural Design Sessions to build an implementation plan aligning with customer business goals and their technical environment.
- Develop, support Migration and modernization of complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring that all solutions adhere to the “Well-Architected” framework, exhibiting high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to the system engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during Migration and modernization to demonstrate the value of implementing Azure technologies.
- Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners, and external communities, building and growing developer communities through activities such as workshops.
- Ability to focus on customers, proven ability to be client focused, create results, proactive, and collaborate with others.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology (IT), or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft solution areas and system administration
- 2+ year(s) working experience on customer-focused cloud computing technologies across Windows and/or Linux, with demonstrated experience in One-or-More of the following domains:
- Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking, Security and Automation,
- Website Apps: IIS, Azure Web Apps, PHP, Apache, Tomcat, WordPress, etc.
- Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD etc.
- Data: MS SQL, MySQL, Postgre etc.
- Experience in consultative and deployment projects focusing on Application Migration and Modernization to Azure cloud, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications.
- Technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based technologies such as Containers, DevOps, Software Development Lifecycle etc.
- Certifications are a plus:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Certifications in Azure Development, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, and/or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to do the right thing under pressure and tight deadlines and shift basis.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills-both oral and written.
- Working late hours and weekends would be required on an occasional basis.
- Self-motivated and independent thinker that routinely translates circumstances and understanding into actions that move the business forward in a measurable manner
