Enhance collaboration with familiar applications

For years, companies have depended on Microsoft technologies for accomplishing work in the office. However, with the emergence of new technologies, more companies are keener on establishing collaboration offline and online in the workplace. Going for the cloud is the obvious choice but without Microsoft Office applications, companies anticipate the learning curve, the cost of training, and the transition.
To the delight of companies dependent on Microsoft Office, Microsoft launched Office 365 in 2011, bringing its Microsoft applications in the cloud on a subscription basis for all types of enterprises. Users wanting to use Office 365 in the office can also get the desktop versions of Microsoft Office applications, depending on the type of subscription.
Achieve the following with Office 365:

Collaborate with colleagues in real time. Skip saving a document on your hard disk and sharing it via e-mail. Office 365 easily lets you instantly share documents to multiple people for viewing or editing. Once shared, multiple users can simultaneously type, edit, and comment on a single document. There’s no need to learn where to locate commands on Office Online as almost everything is the same with the desktop version.
In addition, with OneDrive, you can share multiple files by sharing a folder. You can also set a file on public so that you don’t have to input multiple e-mail addresses on the invite dialog – rather, you and your colleagues can just share the link of the document for everyone to access.
Access Office applications on multiple devices. Using different devices for work have increased productivity in the workplace. Office 365 works with Windows, Apple, Android, BlackBerry, and Symbian devices, allowing you to collaborate with your colleagues anytime and anywhere.
Automatically save files in the cloud. How many times have you forgotten to save a document and lose what you have worked on for hours? Office 365 helps you avoid this disaster by automatically saving your document as you type.
Work even when you’re offline. Internet connection is vital in using the cloud for your business. But for times when connection is down, your access to files stored in the cloud may be cut off. Office 365 allows users to work on a document even when offline. Once that user goes online, the changes done offline will be synced for other users to see.

Access familiar functionality of Office apps online. Office 365 does not compromise the user experience by skimping on the available functions of Office Online. In Office 365, users will still be able to access the same formatting controls in the desktop version of Microsoft Office.
Access Office 365 anytime, anywhere, on any device. Being on the cloud promises mobility and this is what Office 365 provides users. Users can be able to access files and documents anywhere and on any device. For example, if your employees will be out of the country to attend a conference, they don’t need to bring all their files with them – they just need a device to access Office 365 online.
Always have the latest version. You don’t need to manually upgrade Microsoft Office as Office 365 takes care of this. Updates are installed automatically for both security updates and new versions of Office. This eliminates the cost and effort of upgrading to the newest version and allowing your company to be more productive in the office.
