Job purpose:

As the Manager, you will work closely with our technical solution leads, sales, engineering, and process leads to drive ideas and see them to completion to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. The Manager role will support operationally leading a team of engineers, continuous enhancement and operational support for Microsoft Infrastructure and Cloud delivery and support services. He/she is responsible for achieving a profit and productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, and/or channel supported.


In this role, you will:

  • Own, manage and develop the technical business relationship with the customer.
  • Focus broadly across technologies with deep knowledge in Microsoft Core Infrastructure and Cloud solutions – Windows Server, Identity, Data, Azure, M365, CoPilot, Security and Management (Deep specialization in 1-2 of these workloads is preferred).
  • In addition to technical depth, the ideal candidate has solid domain knowledge, intense curiosity, and a demonstrated ability to make progressive and thoughtful strategic proposals and deeply influence senior decision makers in a rapidly changing environment.
  • This role manages highly complex levels of escalated problems, involving a broad range of technical issues for our 24×7 support services.
  • Drive Business impact and Revenue, Consumption and Usage through business development opportunities with the customers.
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company.
  • Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical closure.”
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team-member associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in leading or managing a technical team
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft digital transformation
  • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft technical sales/support
  • Strong knowledge/skills in Microsoft on-premises and Cloud infrastructure technologies along with active certifications.
  • Availability, flexibility, and the ability to do the right thing under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills-both oral and written.
  • Experience in one or more of these areas desirable
