The role in a nutshell:

We are looking for a Microsoft 365 and Azure Pre-sales engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical knowledge and direction to our customers and potential clients regarding the advantages of cloud-based solutions. Collaborating with our sales team, you will pinpoint client requirements, customize and showcase solutions that fit their needs, and assist with technical advice during the sales process. Additionally, you’ll work with the delivery team to secure a seamless handover from presales to after-sales, ensuring the clients’ contentment.

 

What you will do in this role:

  • Conducting discovery sessions with customers to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
  • Developing and presenting customized proposals and presentations that showcase the value proposition and features of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure products and services.
  • Providing technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to illustrate how Microsoft 365 and Azure can address customer needs and solve their pain points.
  • Responding to technical queries and requests for information from customers and partners. 
  • Preparing and delivering technical training and workshops to customers and partners on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure capabilities and best practices.
  • Supporting the sales team in preparing bids, proposals, and contracts.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and Microsoft representatives. 
  • Staying updated on the latest trends and developments in the cloud computing market and Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure offerings.

 

  What we are looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cloud computing, preferably with Microsoft Azure plus Microsoft 365/Security platform. 
  • Azure certifications, such as AZ-104, AZ-900, AZ-500, are preferred. 
  • Microsoft 365 certifications, such as MS-102, SC-100, SC-200, or SC-300, are preferred. 
  • Proficient in Azure core services, such as compute, storage, networking, identity, security, database, and web. 
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft on-premises and cloud infrastructure services such as but not limited to Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange Server, System Center, Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies. 
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to do the right thing under pressure and tight deadlines and shift basis. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills-both oral and written is a must. 
  • A self-motivated and independent thinker that routinely translates circumstances and understanding into actions that move the business forward in a measurable manner. 
  • Strong learning skills to demonstrate fast adoption of new technologies. 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with standard Maldives office hours (Sunday to Thursday, 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM).
  • Hybrid work environment with options for physical work as needed.
